We carry out internal alterations where the installation of new RSJ steel work would be required as in the photographs below of works carried out, e.g. the removal of a dividing internal load bearing wall, we would supply and install the RSJ steel work required, submit Building Notice and steel beam calculations to the appropriate Council as required by the current Building Regulations, we then complete the work by carrying out all the necessary plastering and joinery works.
We recommend that Building Notice is submitted when carrying out such building work to prevent complications in the future if you decide to sell the property as the buyers solicitor will ask to be provided with all the documentation to prove the work has been carried out following all of the current Building Regulations.
The photograph opposite is of a new staircase which was built whilst carrying out a loft conversion project to supply the adequate Fire Regulated escape. The staircase was installed in what used to be the original small bedroom of the property, the original bedroom wall, door frame and door were removed, the staircase was made and installed following the plans provided, a new window and radiator were also installed whilst carrying out the works. All plastering and joinery work were carried out to finish.
We carry out all bathroom work from complete refurbishment where all walls are re-plastered new sink / toilet / shower unit / shower cubicle fitted and wall and floor tiling carried out or up-date new tiles and fitments. We will carry out all electrical and plumbing works required for completion of work.
